Illustrator & Educator
Welcome to an ever-growing, ever-improving collection of work created primarily out of curiosity, grit, and old grocery bags. This also happens to be a 66% accurate description of the artist herself.
While I am enjoying a lifelong quest to figure out what I want to be when I grow up (a quest I fully intend to pursue well into my geriatric years), art and illustration have remained constants in my life. Here you will find a current list of my past & present occupations, all of which continue to influence my work as an illustrator:
Baker / Unofficial Taste-Tester
Zoo Educator / Prairie Dog Wrangler
Elementary Special Educator / Emotional Support "Grown Up"
Tutor for Neurodiverse Children / Neurodiverse Tutor
Children's Book Illustrator / Professional Sister-Who-Draws
I work alongside my fabulously talented brother and partner-in-crime as an author-illustrator team. We believe strongly in the benefit of beginning-to-end collaboration between author and illustrator. Our first children's book was commissioned and published by a non-profit organization, the Nickel Plate Express, while the second is currently in-process and seeking publication.
We seek to blend playful presentation with important topics like anxiety, depression, gender, and disability in order to help facilitate open, positive conversations between children and their grown-ups.

Above all, though, we want you to enjoy a good story
well-told and playfully illustrated.
